This is an important message from Skiatook Public Schools. Skiatook Public Schools will be closed today due to extreme low wind chills and cold temperatures. This will be an inclement weather day and there will be no virtual learning.

REMINDER: In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there will be no school on Monday, January 20.

The Skiatook Basketball Tournament scheduled for today has been postponed. Friday's games will be played on Saturday at regularly scheduled time. Saturday games will be played on Monday.

Due to the current road conditions and the forecast of more snow and cold temperatures overnight, Skiatook Schools will be closed for a snow day on Friday, January 10. Parents and students, this is not a Virtual Day. Thank you.

Sodexo will be opening their new performance line option this Thursday, January 9th at our Skiatook High School. We are really excited about these higher protein meals!



The Skiatook Exchange Bank basketball tournament kicks off on January 9th. This year is shaping up to feature some amazing games!
Make sure to mark your calendars and come out to support our teams. Let’s show them our spirit and enthusiasm!



Our Elementary sites will be offering a special holiday themed parfait on Thursday, December 5th!


Congratulations to everyone for a wonderful job on Turkey Challenge! On Friday the FFA Students delivered 15,365 cans/boxes of food to SEAC to be distributed. It is amazing how this district shows up every year to help the community. A special shout out to SIE. Stuco has the official numbers but the amount of food we picked up there was staggering. The three pictures attached are of the students sorting items.The trailer loaded with food, there is also 5 ft in front of the gate you see that is full as well as the nose of the trailer. A third picture is of the over 1,000 boxes of pop tarts.

Parents,
At approximately 12:34 when Osage county received the tornado warning all site took their tornado percautions. We communicated with our local city management teams and at approximately 12:53 all sites were released from their tornado percautions.

We are all clear to move out of shelter. There will be heavy rain for the next hour!

At this time all sites should be taking shelter! We will keep you posted.
