Title 1 District- Skiatook Public Schools is a Title 1 district. Under the Teacher Loan Forgiveness (TLF) Program, if you teach full time for five complete and consecutive academic years in a low-income school or educational service agency, and meet other qualifications, you may be eligible for forgiveness of up to $17,500 on your Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans and your Subsidized and Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans. Competitive starting compensation for teachers: $41,121 for teachers with a Bachelor’s Degree and zero years experience. Salary scale through Step 30; teachers beyond Step 30 receive an additional $500 per year of service above 30.
