Volleyball girls were were on fire this season!
Both 7th and 8th grade teams were UNDEFEATED in regular season conference play!
7th grade played in 18 matches this season. They won 7 of those matches in 2 sets! They played a total of 45 sets and scored 891 total points this season!
8th grade played in 19 matches this season. They won 7 of those matches in 2 sets! They played a total of 48 sets and scored 987 points this season.
In their junior high careers, the 8th graders scores a collective total of 2079 points, played exactly 100 sets and won 66 of them, and ended up with an overall junior high record of 31 wins and 9 losses

Last week 40 NJHS students served at the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Here's what our Historian Kam Currier had to say about it:
“Today our NJHS volunteer team traveled to the Food Bank. We bagged more than 2 tons of food to donate! Going to the Food Bank was such a blessing, and we are so grateful we got to help people in need. Our NJHS Chapter had a great time and we truly are so happy to be helping out our community!😁

A short week to kick off Fall Break! 🍂
Mrs. Stuckey's Aviation 1 class takes off with balloon rockets! Using simple materials like balloons, string, straws, and tape, students explored how air pressure and Newton's Third Law of Motion (for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction) help rockets fly.
Thank you to our High School Counseling team for putting on the college and career fair and letting our 7th & 8th graders join in!

We’re still buzzing with excitement from last weeks football game — and our cheer squad absolutely brought the energy! From high-flying stunts to picture-perfect pyramids, the sidelines were full of spirit, strength, and school pride. That’s a wrap on an incredible season for our 8th grade volleyball girls! From day one to the final match, they played with passion, supported one another, and gave it their all. We’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished — the wins, the tough battles, and the team bond that grew stronger with every game.

Last week in the library, our 8th grade students dove into a fun and interactive activity to help them discover which book genres they might enjoy the most. Through a short quiz and some reflection, students explored their reading preferences and were introduced to genres they may not have considered before — from fantasy and mystery to historical fiction and nonfiction. Last week in Mrs. Domres' Advanced 6th Grade Science, our young scientists dove deep into the building blocks of matter by constructing 3D models of elements! This interactive project helped students visualize what’s usually invisible — the tiny particles that make up everything around us!
