From learning their first chants to nailing those halftime routines, every moment was filled with energy, teamwork, and spirit. Our cheerleaders brought the sidelines to life this season! They cheered their hearts out in every game, lifted each other up, and made memories that will last!
Onto cheering for basketball & wrestling for these girls!

Mrs. Goodwin's TEAMS class worked together really well on their Red Ribbon Week poster! They exhibited so many great character traits and Leader In Me habits throughout the class from figuring out what they wanted on their poster to diving tasks up and finally completing the project as a group!

Mrs. Henderson received a grant from Skiatook Public Schools Support Foundation (SPSSF) for her 8th grade Science students! The grant was for Animal and Human Prosthesis. For the past couple of weeks they have been learning about animal adaptations, human Prosthesis, the process of rehabilitation and therapy as well as the financial aspect of all these things. Some groups finished their "prosthetic leg" and gave it a go walking up and down the hallway. Mrs. Henderson said: "My favorite part of all this is how creative some of these kiddos are. Everyone was given the same materials, same amount of time, shown the same videos and listened to the same instructions and rubric. Spending this time with them in the lab, watching them process and problem shoot, has been awesome as a teacher. I am so proud of them and will post more pics when more complete. Thank you, so much, to everyone who made this possible." ❤️🐾🫶

Last week 40 NJHS students served at the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Here's what our Historian Kam Currier had to say about it:
“Today our NJHS volunteer team traveled to the Food Bank. We bagged more than 2 tons of food to donate! Going to the Food Bank was such a blessing, and we are so grateful we got to help people in need. Our NJHS Chapter had a great time and we truly are so happy to be helping out our community!😁

Mrs. Stuckey's Aviation 1 class takes off with balloon rockets! Using simple materials like balloons, string, straws, and tape, students explored how air pressure and Newton's Third Law of Motion (for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction) help rockets fly.

These snapshots capture the hard work, dedication, and time that make cheerleading such a vital part of game day.
Huge shoutout to our photographer for capturing these amazing moments. Thanks Kimberly Cordova!

That’s a wrap on an incredible season for our 8th grade volleyball girls! From day one to the final match, they played with passion, supported one another, and gave it their all. We’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished — the wins, the tough battles, and the team bond that grew stronger with every game.
To our 8th graders — we can’t wait to see all you do in high school. The future is bright!

Leadership isn’t only about making big decisions—it’s also about the small, everyday moments that show care and compassion. This picture of our principal helping a student with her ponytail captures exactly who he is: someone who notices, steps in, and makes each child feel seen and supported. From guiding our school with wisdom to taking time for simple acts of kindness, he leads with both heart and dedication. We are so grateful for the love, patience, and commitment he pours into our students every single day. 💙
Happy Principal’s Appreciation Month—we are truly blessed to have such a wonderful leader!
