Avery Berk won 1st place for 7th grade Tulsa County “Law Day” art contest. She received a nice certificate and a cash award.
8th grade Promotion guest- the South end of the parking lot is blocked off for our 8th grade picnic. Parking could be an adventure but we appreciate your grace. You do NOT need to check in at the office. Enter through the black gate to the gym. We're excited to celebrate our awesome students!
Our end of year Awards Ceremonies kick off tomorrow morning with 6th grade beginning at 9, and 7th grade at 10. Please enter through the black gate into the gym. We will have visitor check in there, no need to check in the office. We're excited to celebrate our hardworking students!
Maddox Hancock and McKenna Shelton both won in the 6th grade Tulsa County “Law Day” writing contest. We're so proud of them! Go Bulldogs!
Kimber Lewis not only won a local VFW writing contest, but she also won 1st place at district. She was awarded another cash award along with a nice certificate! Go Kimber!
Our NMS band has worked so hard all year! You won't want to miss their spring concert! tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7th at 6pm

Chromebook check in is next week during ELA classes. 6th graders check in theirs on Monday May 6th, 7th graders check in theirs on Tuesday May 7th and 8th graders check in theirs on Wednesday May 8th.
Marrs Elementary, the Education Service Center and the Day Care have no internet or phone service at this time (Friday May 3rd 11 am) due to a suspected fiber optic cable cut. Phone service is available at other school sites.

Our spring choir concert is tomorrow Thursday May 2nd at 7pm. The students have worked so hard!
Testing continues tomorrow thru next week! Please make sure your student gets a good nights rest, charges their chrome book and gets to school on time!
The Skiatook Jazz Band was named second runner-up in the state for jazz at the OSSAA State Jazz Competition at Oklahoma Christian University. This is a tremendous accomplishment, and a testament to the the hard work put in by our students and Mr. Kitchen!
Over the year they have competed at many contests. Highlights include best of the day at the Wichita Jazz Festival last weekend and 3rd at the Oologah Dark Cloud Contest. The middle school jazz was also back-to-back champions at the Oologah contest. Please congratulate all of our students on a successful jazz season!
Our Bulldog Cheer Booster Club is hosting their first garage sale and it just happens to be at our gym! Stop by and support those Bulldogs!
The biggest "THANK YOU" to our community for coming out to our Bingo & Carnival fundraiser, our NJHS and Student Council students for hosting the games and especially local businesses that donated to make our prizes so good! We had a great time & hope you did too!
