Oklahoma GEAR UP Site Director Rachelle Sturges presented Skiatook Public Schools yesterday with grants funds to help students and their families better prepare for and succeed in college. The federal GEAR UP grant award totaling $34.7 million will provide education and direct student services to Skiatook and 12 other Oklahoma school districts over the next seven years. This is Skiatook's second consecutive GEAR UP grant.
